First Week In May

You may have seen some of our classes walking through the neighbourhood this week..
We went on a fairy hunts...

We discovered new gardens....

And some of us even went to a pet shop!

We have been practicing our writing skills, shapes and fine motor in our Uni 3 class. During our circle time we used our chalk boards and practised together! Straight lines, zig zag lines, circles and squares! Ask me to show you at home!

In the Orca Room we mixed water colours on the easel, we used loose parts to play , count and make shapes!

In the Unicorn Room we started to ask Ms. Sarah about babies. We discussed babies and pregnancy. We discussed animals like pigs, dogs and humans and the difference to chickens, snakes and frogs. This sparked our curiosity and there will be more to come! For now our teachers set up a fun dramatic area for us to learn and explore self help and caring skills!

Last but not least, we decided it was time to check out our memory. The teachers set out a sink and float activity and we had to work as a team to test out the objects and then sort them... Which ones would float and which would sink?!
